A Friend Who Depends on You

A pet can turn an ordinary afternoon into an adventure. A dog encourages outdoor exercise, while caring for a rabbit or guinea pig can teach patience and attention to detail. Animals may offer companionship, but they also rely on us to provide a suitable home, food, exercise and veterinary care. Before adopting one, families should consider the time and costs involved. The best reward is not simply having an animal nearby. It is learning to recognise its needs and earning its trust over time.

Learn from the example

  • The response chooses an angle for its intended readers. Its details serve that purpose instead of trying to cover every part of the topic.
  • Use the requested article or leaflet form, with each paragraph offering a useful point for that audience. Headings and direct address should serve the purpose of the piece.
