Epsom College is a co-educational independent day and boarding school with extensive grounds near Epsom Downs, combining strong academic expectations with a notably active sporting and pastoral culture. Originally founded in connection with the medical profession, it now offers a broad contemporary education with the support of a house system and substantial facilities for science, arts and sport. Boarding and day pupils share the wider school experience.

The three principal entry points are 11+ (Year 7), 13+ (Year 9) and 16+, but the College does not publish a stable split of available places between the 11+ and 13+ routes. Applicants for both younger entry points are assessed through the ISEB Common Pre-test, school reports and an engagement or interview session; for 13+ deferred entry, assessment normally starts in Year 6, well before the child joins in Year 9. Scholarships and bursaries may be available at the main entry points.
