Something Cold
The Prompt
Something Cold
Imagine you've just encountered something incredibly, wonderfully cold! It could be a melting ice lolly on a hot day, a fresh blanket of sparkling snow, a frosty window on a winter morning, or even a glass filled with icy lemonade.
Your mission is to write a short paragraph, around 3 to 5 sentences long, describing this cold thing. Try to make your reader feel the chill just by reading your words! Think about:
- What does it look like? Is it clear, white, blue, or perhaps shimmering?
- How does it feel to touch it, or even just be near it? Does it make your fingers tingle, or your breath puff out?
- What happens because it's so cold? Does it slowly melt, or leave a frosty mark?
Use your imagination and fantastic descriptive words to paint a picture of something truly, wonderfully cold!
