The Prompt
Sunny Day Adventure!
Imagine you've just stepped outside on the most beautiful, bright sunny day. The sky is a brilliant blue, and the sun feels warm on your skin.
Your task is to write a short paragraph, about 3 to 5 sentences long, describing this wonderful sunny day. Think about:
- What does the sky look like? Is it clear or are there fluffy clouds?
- How does the sun make you feel? Is it warm and gentle, or bright and strong?
- What sounds might you hear? Birds singing, children playing, a gentle breeze?
- What colours can you see around you? Bright green grass, colourful flowers?
Try to use descriptive words (adjectives) to make your writing come alive, so the reader can almost feel the sunshine too!
