About a Bird
The Prompt
Hello, young nature explorers! Your task is to become a bird-watcher and tell us all about a feathered friend you've spotted.
Think about a bird you've seen recently, perhaps in your garden, at the park, or even through your window. It could be a common robin, a busy blackbird, or a graceful pigeon.
Your mission is to write a short paragraph, about 3 to 5 sentences long, describing this bird. We want to know:
- What did it look like? (Think about its colours, how big it was, and any noticeable feathers or markings.)
- What was it doing? (Was it hopping, flying, singing, pecking for food, or sitting still?)
- Where exactly did you see it?
Try to use exciting words to make your bird come alive for the reader!
