The Prompt
Imagine you're an intrepid astronaut, the very first human to set foot on a brand new, undiscovered alien planet! Your mission is to describe everything you encounter on this incredible journey.
Close your eyes and picture it: What does the sky look like? Is it a colour you've never seen before? Are there two suns, or maybe no sun at all?
As you step out of your spaceship, what do you see? Are there strange, glowing plants, or towering rock formations that touch the clouds? What colour is the ground beneath your feet? Is it soft and squishy, or hard and crystalline?
Now, listen carefully. What sounds fill the air? Perhaps a gentle hum, the whisper of alien winds, or the calls of unknown creatures. What about smells? Does the air smell sweet like candy, or sharp like metal?
Use your imagination to create a truly unique and vivid world that no one has ever seen before. Your goal is to make the reader feel like they are right there with you, exploring this amazing new planet!

My spaceship landed with a gentle hiss on a planet unlike any I had ever imagined. The sky above was a swirling tapestry of deep indigo and shimmering emerald, with three tiny, silver moons hanging like forgotten jewels. Giant, luminous mushrooms, taller than any tree on Earth, pulsed with a soft, purple light, casting long, dancing shadows across the landscape. The ground beneath my boots felt like springy moss, glowing faintly with an inner warmth.
A sweet, earthy scent, like damp soil mixed with honey, filled the air. In the distance, I could hear the gentle chime of crystal-like flowers swaying in a breeze I couldn't feel, accompanied by a low, rhythmic thrumming – perhaps the heartbeat of the planet itself.
