More Sports In School
The Prompt
Imagine you get to decide how much sport and PE we have at school! Your task is to write a powerful letter or speech to the 'School Board' – these are the important people who make big decisions about our school. You need to convince them that we should either have much more sport and physical education, or much less.
Think carefully about why your idea is the best. If you want more sport, explain how it helps us stay healthy, happy, and even learn better in other subjects. If you think we need less sport, perhaps you believe we need more time for subjects like Maths, English, or Science to help us get smarter.
Remember, you're trying to persuade them! Use strong words and give good reasons. Think about what's best for everyone at our school. What do you think is the perfect balance between running around and learning in the classroom?
